I found this recipe for a Cracker Barrel Copycat Biscuit recipe some time back on either on a blog or on Pinterest. I've tried them several times now and they are easy and quick to make. I thought I would make some this morning for the kids.
Biscuits:
2 1/4 cups Bisquick
2/3 cup buttermilk
1 tsp. sugar
1 T. melted butter (to brush on top of biscuits)
Mix all the ingredients and stir until a soft dough forms. On a floured surface, knead the dough and then roll out 1/2 inch thick. Use a drinking glass to cut your biscuits. Brush melted butter on top and bake in a 450 degree oven for 8 - 10 minutes.
I pulled out all the jams I could find!
I don't make breakfast every morning. But with snow headed our way again today, it felt like a day to bake. Hope you enjoy!
